I am not sure the source of this video originally, I edited the text a bit, and the only source was nwowatchers.com which is no longer available apparently… So I took out some stuff I didnt like, and put this together for a DVD Im working on to hand out free.. @adamarchambault The only truth to the gateway drug theory is that sometimes hard drugs are sold at the same places as pot, dealers have been known to presure people to try more expensive drugs, thats just another reason it should be sold in stores instead of the black market.
@adamarchambault Pot is easier for kids to get than alcohol, the reason is that with legalization we can control who will get pot with an age limit like alcohol but with prohibition the drug dealers decide who is old enough to get drugs. Lets take control away from drug lords and legalize it.

its not bad when of age to partake in such things as taking a toke of marijuana. But when i see 6th graders smoking weed, you gotta draw the line somewhere. This place is fucked. We need some crackdown happening not people who are condoning this type of behavior so they can evolve from 12 year old pot smokers to 21 year old methadone addicts.
@brainphreak You’re 100% right about that. I am just mad lately with an aquaintance who has this nice Blueberry outdoor strain from last summer, but he used some kind of mite spray or something, and you can hardly inhale it without coughing your guts and lungs out. It’s gross. Trust me, if you had to choose, you may have a smoke. lol. I avoid that stuff like McDonalds.
@TheExeter – I agree with everything except taking a cigarette part. The truth is the cigarette companies not only have the bad chemicals and ingredients we know about, but the standards are very low and they too use fertilizers, pesticides, and even genetic modification to make the tobacco grow bigger faster etc. In fact Marijuana is a natural pesticide for many types of pests, while it too is a target of some worms etc. Pesticides can easily be avoided with hemp/MJ, not the case with tobacco
The ironic thing is, though pot is not that bad for you, putting something in your lungs that you did not grow yourself is very, very dangerous. Pot growers care only about money. They do not leach soon enough and use whatever fertilizer is strongest enough to make plants bigger. I would smoke any manufactured cigarette over a joint that I did not grow myself.

Great video. Sure wish Jack Herer would of lived to see the day it will be legal again. He wrote The Emperor Wears No Clothes and did his best to educate people. It is going on the ballot in Calif. next time to legalize it for recreational use for over 21. I am hoping that will also mean that farmers can grow it for all the other uses for it too.

@LoveFingerboards – in conclusion, its no revelation that wikipedia is not perfect… Its better than me giving you NO reference right? if I give reference to a government site, conspiracy theorists say its ‘controlled’. If I give one to the medical industry its “biased”. Easy to cry “its not a good source” if looking for excuses and not facts, in simple debates like ‘is Hemp and Marijuana the same?” wikipedia or several sources are useful, CHOOSE YOUR OWN! They all say the same, ANY source
@LoveFingerboards – wikipedia is powerful for that exact reason… Anyone anytime anywhere can add to google… Wikipedia at LEAST has moderators, not EVERYONE can change it, (go try), and since thousands+ of users read it, when a change comes that is completely inaccurate, the rest of the viewers police themselves and ask for references etc. Nothing is perfect, its only good for ‘common knowledge; (like word definitions). Its more useful than a corporate controlled search engine or dictionary

@Gibbyx6 – Yes wikipedia is not the best source for all info, but you can also look in the dictionary, or any science book on the topic, or any site online. I just chose wikipedia for its popularity. Its simple science… Hemp and Marijuana are two different species… Its not really a ‘debate’. I’m all for both Hemp AND Marijuana, but fact remains, Hemp is NOT Marijuana… Some people just like to argue for no reason, I have no choice but to point them to a source to clear the confusion caused
