I really tried to like this stuff. No matter what I mixed it with I couldn’t get past the musty, bitter taste. I know it’s super healthy but it’s got to be one of the nastiest tasting things I’ve ever encountered. I was very disappointed to have to throw away a 3/4 full container of something so expensive, but I couldn’t face trying to drink it without gagging one more time.

The positive reviews about the taste of this product are way too generous. I mixed this product with different juices and it was undrinkable. The texture and taste almost made me gag. It doesn’t even remotely taste like acai. I also bought the original formula which tastes just as disgusting. I would recommend Vega, a meal replacement hemp protein drink, which actually tastes pleasant.

I’m surprised at how filling and satisfying this product is – and I’m a girl who likes to eat! At first, I tried this with only milk (fat-free); I just used about 3 tablespoons (4 is the recommended serving portion) and stirred it with a spoon. I have a strong liking for sweets … and this wasn’t sweet enough (if at all). So, I added a packet or two of Splenda – and it was good. The next few times, I made simple smoothies using my “bullet” blender. I added milk, a small container of strawberry/banana yogurt, a whole banana, and 3 tablespoons of HempShake Amazon Acai (and a packet of Spenda). Then, I put it in the freezer for about a half hour. Mmm … it was quite tasty and it just makes you feel healthy just by drinking it! I’ll be sure to try the chocolate version, too…and other Nutiva products. This was the first hemp product I’ve ever consumed so I can’t really compare with others; but, as a first-time hemp consumer I’m completely please with this product. I hope they keep the price relatively affordable…

Nutive Acai is a superfood,and a great source of organic raw plant protein.It is excellent for people on vegetarian and raw vegan diets.
It really taste good too with no added sugar.
With every glass of nutiva hempshake acai you get 32% of your daily intake of fiber,as well as 9g of protein,and all your amino acids.
I can’t recommend this acai shake high enough a true superfood made with raw organic hemp powder,mesquite pods,sambazon acai,organic maca,and brazil nut.

Great product, add to other protein shakes for a wonderful healthy drink. Hemp is one of the best balanced proteins out there, plus hemp does not use a lot of earth resources to achieve its growth. Get the Acai Hemp, better taste.
