Vitamin C is a MICROnutrient. The human body does not derive energy from vitamin c nor does it require it in very large quantities (>1g/day). Brush up on your physiology before pontificating on nutrition.

That certainly is impressive. But keep in mind the average american consumes 200% protein daily, so you don’t really need anymore. Protein is a macronutrient like vitamin-c, your body uses what it needs and flushes out the rest, so if you want the utmost benefit from protein just eat as you normally would but have a light snack before/after a work out, however don’t eat a bacon cheeseburger before bed because you need protein while you sleep like i used to lol. 160 benching 250 last i checked
